Mobile Check‑In and Pre‑Scale Processing

Yard iQ is designed for installation on portable handheld devices, communicating wirelessly with the ScaleQ database over the facility’s Wi‑Fi network.

With Yard iQ installed on a tablet or handheld device, yard personnel can:

• Check vehicles into the facility before they reach the scale
• Start tickets in advance
• Enter customer, job, material, and other transaction data

When the vehicle arrives at the scale, the attendant simply selects the vehicle from the ScaleQ yard list, reviews the entered information, and completes the weighment—quickly clearing the scale for the next truck.

This workflow dramatically reduces congestion, especially during peak traffic periods, allowing more loads to be processed with the same staffing levels.

Real‑Time Yard Editing and Multi‑User Operation

Yard iQ allows authorized personnel to edit in‑yard records directly from mobile devices, including:

• Correcting or updating transaction information
• Changing or adding materials
• Removing trucks from the queue if needed
