GateKeeper is access control software developed by Interface Logic Systems to provide secure, automated control for commercial, industrial, and gated facilities where restricted access is required.

RFID‑Based Automated Access Control

GateKeeper interfaces with radio frequency identification (RFID) systems, including Transcore SmartPass RFID readers and other automated vehicle identification technologies.

When an authorized vehicle approaches a controlled entry point:

• A driveway detector senses the vehicle
• The RFID reader captures the vehicle’s identification code
• GateKeeper searches the database for a valid vehicle record
• Upon authorization, the gate is automatically opened
• Vehicle ID, date, and time are logged in the database

This process enables automated, unattended, and auditable facility access.

Gate Control, Scheduling, and Monitoring

Each controlled gate is graphically represented in the GateKeeper interface, displaying real‑time gate status. System operators can manually override gates when needed, allowing flexible control during special circumstances.

GateKeeper also supports:

• Scheduled automatic opening and closing of specific gates
• Multiple time windows per day
• Configuration for shift changes, scheduled deliveries, and peak traffic periods

Vehicle Notifications and Messaging

GateKeeper includes a vehicle notification system that allows alerts to be triggered when specific vehicles enter the facility.

Notification features include:

• On‑screen alerts when designated vehicles arrive
• Messages that remain visible until cleared or expire automatically
• Stacked notifications for managing multiple arrivals
